Good Day San Pedro! The Casa is open tonight and serving up some of the best unique offerings on the island. With 2 weeks to go this season before we take our lovely vacation to spend with family and friends, there are only 2 more Thursdays for our weekly 5-course “Tasting Thursday” menu.
This week’s menu is……
First Course – Papas Brava – Golden deep fried small potatoes tossed in truffle oil & Parmesan, served with a garlic aioli & sprinkle of paprika
Second Course - Tuna Carpaccio – Thinly sliced fresh caught black fin tuna served with ponzu & capers, topped with a daikon & micro-green radish salad
Third Course – Hungarian Mushroom Soup – A traditional Hungarian soup made with a mixed mushroom stock & shallots, dill, cream, paprika, lemon & topped with a dollop of sour cream
Fourth Course – Almond Crusted Sea Bass – Pan seared sea bass encrusted with almonds & a touch of almond liquor, served over thyme, butter sautéed vegetables with a citrus beurre blanc
Fifth Course – Banana Wontons – Deep fried wontons stuffed with sweet bananas, shaved Kakaw chocolate & cinnamon topped with a drizzle of Kahlua sauce and house made vanilla ice cream
