Good Day San Pedro! The Casa is open tonight and serving up some of the best unique offerings on the island. There are six weeks to go this season before we take our annual break, so that means there will be only 6 more Thursdays for our weekly “Tasting Thursday” menus.
This week’s, 5 course chef’s tasting menu is……
First Course – Spanish Croquettes – Deep fried croquettes filled with Serrano ham & Manchego cheese, coated with buttered bread crumbs & served with a fire roasted red pepper aioli
Second Course – Vichyssoise – A traditional French prepared soup with a Belizean twist, made with leeks & potatoes, a hint of fresh coconut milk & cream, served chilled
Third Course – Lobster Melon Cocktail – Poached lobster tossed with cucumber & cantaloupe, served with a housemade spicy cocktail sauce
Fourth Course – Roasted Pork Belly & Apples – Fermented black bean & anise rubbed crispy pork belly in a caramelized apple brandy sauce, served with crispy smoked Gouda polenta
Fifth Course - Vanilla Panna Cotta – Housemade vanilla panna cotta served with a mixed berry coulis, topped with fresh berries
