Good Day San Pedro! The Casa is open tonight and serving up some of the best unique offerings on the island. There are only 5 weeks to go this season before we take our lovely vacation to spend with family and friends. That means that there is only 5 more Thursdays for our weekly “Tasting Thursday” menu.
This week’s, 5 course chef’s tasting menu is……
First Course – Sesame Tuna Bites – Local tuna encrusted in sesame, pan seared rare on crispy wontons with a soy, cucumber, bell pepper “salsa” & a touch of wasabi
Second Course – Gratin de Chou Fleur – Oven roasted cauliflower baked in a rich cheddar & jack cheese béchamel, topped with Serrano ham
Third Course - Cold Sesame Noodle Bowl – Vermicelli noodles tossed with fresh vegetables & a rice wine Siracha sesame oil, served chilled
Fourth Course – Mahi & Dill – Pan roasted Mahi-Mahi in a dill, lemon beurre blanc over a callaloo, bacon hash
Fifth Course – Lemon & Vanilla – A light & refreshing lemon sorbet served with housemade “Nilla“ wafers
