Tasting Thursday – July 27th

Don’t forget tomorrow is “Tasting Thursday” at the Casa and Chef Val and his team are preparing a delicious 5-course tasting menu for you.

This week’s “Tasting Thursday” menu is……

First Course Lamb LomoMarinated, grilled lamb layered with piquillo peppers, Kalamata Olives & melted triple cream brie cheese, served on a toasted crostini with a drizzle of Spanish olive oil

Second CourseBasque Style Tomato SoupSmoked paprika & ripe plum tomato soup with a puree of garlic, crusty bread, topped with a halved hard-boiled egg & Serrano ham, served chilled

Third CourseSweet Pea & Sausage StewA Spanish stew of sautéed sweet sausage, leeks, snow peas & pea shoots with a dash of anise liquor

Fourth CourseMahi & PeppersPan seared Mahi-Mahi served with a tri-bell pepper sauce, vermouth & fresh herbs

Fifth CourseYogurt & OrangesA refreshing citrus infused Greek yogurt mousse, topped with housemade frozen orange marmalade
