Don’t forget tomorrow is “Tasting Thursday” at the Casa and Chef Val and his team are preparing a delicious 5-course tasting menu for you.
This week’s “Tasting Thursday” menu is……
First Course – Lamb Lomo – Marinated, grilled lamb layered with piquillo peppers, Kalamata Olives & melted triple cream brie cheese, served on a toasted crostini with a drizzle of Spanish olive oil
Second Course – Basque Style Tomato Soup – Smoked paprika & ripe plum tomato soup with a puree of garlic, crusty bread, topped with a halved hard-boiled egg & Serrano ham, served chilled
Third Course – Sweet Pea & Sausage Stew – A Spanish stew of sautéed sweet sausage, leeks, snow peas & pea shoots with a dash of anise liquor
Fourth Course – Mahi & Peppers – Pan seared Mahi-Mahi served with a tri-bell pepper sauce, vermouth & fresh herbs
Fifth Course – Yogurt & Oranges – A refreshing citrus infused Greek yogurt mousse, topped with housemade frozen orange marmalade
