Good Day San Pedro! It’s a lovely day in Belize and it is that time of the week again where we post our weekly,
“Tasting Thursday menu. Chef Val and his team have a delicious 5-course menu for tomorrow’s chef’s tasting dinner.
This week’s “Tasting Thursday” menu is….
First Course – Stuffed Piquillo Peppers – Piquillo peppers stuffed with Manchego cheese, slow roasted & topped with a drizzle of Spanish olive oil, served with herbed crostini
Second Course – Mizuna & Beets – Locally grown & organic Mizuna lettuce, similar to rocket lettuces, served with roasted beets, cherry tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, asparagus ribbons & goat cheese in a mustard, yogurt vinaigrette
Third Course - Melon and Ginger Soup – Chilled Honeydew melon, ginger & Greek yoghurt soup with green grapes, infused with fennel, mint & lime juice served with crystalized ginger
Fourth Course – Mahi & Shrooms – A grilled Asian marinated fresh Mahi Mahi using lemon, honey, ginger & soy over sauteed mushrooms & green onions
Fifth Course – Pear & Almond Tarts – Housemade tarts filled with sweetened almonds & pears, topped with a housemade pistachio ice cream
As always, our regular menu will be available as well as our optional wine pairings with the first 4-courses.
