Tasting Thursday – June 1st

Good Day San Pedro! It’s a lovely day in Belize and it is that time of the week again where we post our weekly,
“Tasting Thursday menu. Chef Val and his team have a delicious 5-course menu for tomorrow’s chef’s tasting dinner.

This week’s “Tasting Thursday” menu is….

First CourseStuffed Piquillo PeppersPiquillo peppers stuffed with Manchego cheese, slow roasted & topped with a drizzle of Spanish olive oil, served with herbed crostini

Second CourseMizuna & BeetsLocally grown & organic Mizuna lettuce, similar to rocket lettuces, served with roasted beets, cherry tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, asparagus ribbons & goat cheese in a mustard, yogurt vinaigrette 

Third Course - Melon and Ginger SoupChilled Honeydew melon, ginger & Greek yoghurt soup with green grapes, infused with fennel, mint & lime juice served with crystalized ginger

Fourth CourseMahi & ShroomsA grilled Asian marinated fresh Mahi Mahi using lemon, honey, ginger & soy over sauteed mushrooms & green onions

Fifth CoursePear & Almond TartsHousemade tarts filled with sweetened almonds & pears, topped with a housemade pistachio ice cream
