Good Day San Pedro! “Tasting Thursday” is tomorrow and Chef Val and his team have a delicious 5-course chef’s tasting menu in the hopper for tomorrow night. Last week we focused on lobster, this week there will be lobster as well, but we are rounding out our “Tasting Thursday’ menu to include some of your other favorites. This week’s “Tasting Thursday” menu is….
First Course – Deep Fried Avocado – Seasoned tempura battered & deep fried, fresh avocado wedges topped with a drizzle of a habanero crema
Second Course - New England Conch Chowder – Our conch chowder recipe using tender conch in it’s juices with diced potatoes, onions, bacon, fresh cream & a hint of bitters
Third Course - Duck & Mustard – Fresh local duck breast, marinated in Grand Marnier & oranges, pan roasted & sliced, served on a bed of spicy mustard greens with a drizzle of our house made cranberry & mustard dressing
Fourth Course – Squash & Lobster – Housemade ravioli filled with a creamy butternut squash filling & topped with a lobster and champagne cream sauce
Fifth Course - Tiramisu – Lady fingers soaked in a Kahlua & espresso sauce layered with mascarpone & cream cheeses, topped with cocoa powder
As always, our regular menu will be available along with our optional wine pairings with the first 4-courses.
